The Cascade
The Cascade
is a huge white stairwell built into a Yerevan hillside in the 1970s, with water fountains running down, all reminescent of a natural cascade in a river or stream.
It connects the central district to Haghtanak Park and the Monument Neighborhood and is emerging as one of the focal points in Yerevan, similar to the Republic Square, offering spectacular views of Mount Ararat and the city centre.
Currently, in the summer months, the area becomes a hot spot for entertaining the tourists and general public with many free outdoor concerts.

The Monument of Sasuntsi Davithe
The Monument of Sasuntsi Davit is located at the Sasuntsi Davit Metro station on Tigran Mets Street standing in the centre of the square.
The statue of David Sasuntsi, hero of the Armenian folk epic poem, was unveiled in 1959. It has become a symbol of the Armenian people’s love of freedom and of their capital, Yerevan.
